Sergio has worked in network security for more than 15 years. He has occupied top management positions in 2 startups where he was responsible for email security products and services, and security gateways. Before he was the lead architect for a number of security products such as SSL VPNs, log management, web security gateways and SSL crypto accelerators. His career started in several research labs, where he participated in european projects and where he focused on mobile code security. Sergio holds a Ph.D. in computer science and networks from the ENST Paris and MSc and Enginering degrees from the University of Porto (FEUP). He is the holder of 2 patents.
Matthias has over 10 years of hands-on experience in the networking and communications domain. As researcher, software architect, and product manager, he contributed to such different products as Content Delivery Networks, Multicasting Protocols for Satellites, WAN and HTTP Acceleration, SOA, and Web-Applications. He is curious about how technical progress changes our lifes and loves to work on cutting edge technology. Matthias holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems from the University of Nice (France), a Master of Computer Science and Networking from E.S.S.I., Sophia Antipolis (France), and a Master of Business-Computer-Science from the University of Mannheim (Germany).
Frederic started his career more than 10 years ago in an innovative startup on cryptographic acceleration working on SSL and TLS protocols. After focusing on cryptography and becoming project manager of crypto accelerator, he contributed to security software products tackling web security, email security and secure remote access. Then, he was in charge of Linux based security appliances and virtualization. In addition he was the main architect of high availability solutions. Frédéric holds a Bachelor degree in Mathematics and a Master in Computer Science from Blaise-Pascal University of Clermont-Ferrand (France).
